How employmentBENEFITS collects, uses and looks after the information you share. employmentBENEFITS is a sole trader business (ABN 67 590 911 558) based in Sydney, NSW, providing learning design, AI coaching and HR consulting services to Australian organisations. As a small business with annual turnover of $3 million or less, employmentBENEFITS may be exempt from the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles regardless. This policy explains how.
What we collect. We only collect information you provide to us directly: your name, email address and message when you complete the contact form, anything you send through the chat window, and anything you include in an email or enquiry. We don't ask for sensitive information (such as health information, financial account details or government identifiers) through this website, so please don't include it in a message. The website uses cookies to understand how it is used, and you can decline them via the cookie banner. We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used in aggregate. It sets cookies with a random identifier, and we don't use it to identify you.
How we use it. To respond to your enquiries and provide the services you ask for; to send you updates or offers only where you have explicitly opted in; and to improve the website based on aggregated usage data. We do not sell, trade or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Marketing. We comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). We only send marketing emails where you have given consent, every such email includes an easy way to unsubscribe, and unsubscribes are actioned promptly. Direct responses to your enquiries are not marketing emails.
Storage and security. Information submitted through the contact form or chat window is delivered to us through GoDaddy and by email, and stored in our business systems. We take reasonable steps to protect it from unauthorised access, misuse or disclosure. The website is hosted on GoDaddy, whose data handling is governed by GoDaddy's own privacy policy at godaddy.com. We retain your information for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes above, or until you ask us to remove it.
Third-party services. Google Analytics (website traffic), Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection on the contact form), Google Fonts (typography), TrustedSite (the security badge) and GoDaddy Website Builder (hosting, the contact form and the chat window), each with its own privacy practices. We do not use third-party advertising networks or share identifiable data with social media platforms through this website.
Your rights. You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or opt out of marketing at any time. Contact us using the details below and we will respond promptly.
